The national folk-song protects the spirit and the soul of a people. It preserves nation’s identity through ages. A nation without its authentic songs is like a man without soul.

Bulgaria exists as country for ages and it is one of the few countries in Europe that preserved its traditions and culture. Our country had been enslaved by many other nations for long periods of time, but thanks to our songs and national traditions we keep our identity. 
Bulgarians sing even when they crie because the song accompanied him in every workday and holiday, in joy and in grief, in uplift and in fall. The Bulgarian music and its rhythmical wealth consist of the breadth that is achieved by means of multiform combinations of bars and so called unequable bars that are not used in European countries. On the cosmic stations Voyger 1 and 2 in conjunction with Bethoven’s music a Bulgarian folk song is played too.
